Back in July I had the absolute pleasure of shooting the incredibly stylish and edgy wedding of James and Caroline in Liverpool. When I first spoke to Caroline and James I knew instantly that I HAD to shoot their wedding. And man, am I glad they booked me! Their wedding wasn’t like any other, it was held at the Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room, the first ceremony to ever be held in this room. I was very excited about this, as I was told beforehand by James & Caroline that the room would be cleverly lit to look like space. And oh man it did not disappoint. There was even a surprise addition of confetti bombs which were set off during the first kiss. WOW!
From here, we pottered on over to Oh Me Oh My in the heart of Liverpool on The Strand. Where the venue was adorned with metallic geometric shapes, geometric lanterns filled with fairy lights, a distinct music theme (if you hadn’t guessed by now) with album covers as table names and much much more. You really could tell that both Caroline & James work in the art industry. Everything was meticulously planned and created to showcase their stylish tastes.
This wedding was a pleasure to capture, quite simply because James & Caroline were so laid back, relaxed and intent on having the best day of their lives. And I honestly believe their images show this. Nothing, and I mean nothing stopped them from having fun! I have never seen so much laughter at a wedding before. It was fantastic!
Thank you so much to James and Caroline’s family and friends for welcoming me into their day and letting me capture such an awesome wedding. I had an absolute blast!
