So, Christmas and the New Year is a time for reflecting on all the amazing things I have experienced and done in 2016! 2016 has been my first year as a full time Photographer, so the pressure was really on...
However I can honestly say that it has been one of the best years for both my business and myself... I have pushed myself to capture creative and unique images throughout the year, and challenged myself every step of the way to think outside of the box. To bring new and inventive ideas to my clients.
I have taken this opportunity to travel as much as I can, and to dive into workshops and Photography events head first, giving myself the opportunity to meet some incredible and inspiring people from all over the world.
This year alone I have had the absolute pleasure of shooting 36 weddings since last January, both in the UK and worldwide! I have also had the chance to travel to so many incredible places to attend Photography workshops and events to help improve my skills and learn some awesome business tips.
As far as first years go. I like to think I totally smashed this one. Long may it continue. And long may my LOVE of all things photography and conveying emotion continue to support me! Because in my humble opinion.....I have the best job on the planet.
Over the last few weeks I have been slowly compiling a file of all of my favourite photographs from every single wedding this year. However that left me with somewhere close to 300+ images, which is wayyyyyy too many for a blog post. You guys will be nodding off! So I have had the pain staking task of narrowing that selection down to my all time favourites. Oh holy b-jesus it was the most difficult thing I have ever done, it's like asking a mother to choose her favourite child. (Yeah it totally is). So, here goes!
*I can only apologise if you aren't featured in this blog post, I simply couldn't have fit all of my favourites on here. So I have really really had to pick a select few! *
Check out my larger video round up at the end!
Thank you to this years second shooters: Amy Faith, Iwan Brookes, Rebecca Yu, Andy Hirst & Paul Williams.
