Tom & Andrea

Friday night the boyfriend and I packed up the camper, and headed up to the Lake District ready for one heck of an amazing 2 day wedding extravaganza at the gorgeous Silverholme Manor. And what a weekend it was. On Saturday I headed to the manor bright and early with my second shooter Natalie ready to get snapping some gorgeousness! From the get go I was so so excited about their wedding, as all of their plans sounded absolutely amazing. Andrea and her family are chiefly from Barbados so they wanted lots of little elements from home brought into the wedding, mixed with the gorgeous Lake District backdrop.

Andrea looked an absolute vision in a stunningly simple, classy & elegant satin gown....with wait for it....POCKETS! Yep you heard ladies, pockets!!!! Complimented perfectly with the most ornate L.K.Bennett + Jenny Packham Heals, & gorgeous green, white & blush leafy bouquet with hints of sprayed copper leaves. The guys looked every bit as dapper! The venue was decorated with grasses, trees & lots of gorgeous white flowers, with lots of copper candles! Their ceremony room as a simple white room, with two gorgeous green trees at the top of the aisle. Simple and elegant just like Andrea's dress. The crowning glory however was the cake!! A 4 tier simple white iced cake, adorned with sugar craft cacti & coral! A gorgeous homage to Andrea's home.

Tom & Andrea's day was filled with love, laughter, tears & lots fo rum punch. It was SO much fun! But the celebrations didn't stop there. One thing I forgot to mention about Tom & Andrea is that they are swimmers....So when they told me they were planning on doing an open water swim the morning after the wedding.....Heck yeah I was going to see that! What a way to wash away the hangover haha.
So on the Sunday morning I trooped back down to the Lake behind Silverholme to watch Tom & Andrea and all their mental mates dive into the freezing cold lake for a race with all of their friends and family onlooking and cheering them on! Following this they had a traditional Bajan Lime - which effectively means to 'hang out' with others. Which meant food, chat and drinks (I'm thinking soft drinks because everyone was a little worse for wear haha!).

I would like to thank all of Andrea & Tom's friends and family for being so amazing and welcoming over the past weekend. I had the BEST time, and I cannot stop staring at all the images as Tandi (yep, that's right) were an absolute dream!!

And thank you to the amazing staff at Silverholme for being so awesome as always.
