Jason & Caroline

A colourful eclectic summer wedding at Dorfold Hall, Cheshire

Yesterday I was finally able to shoot at the imperfectly perfect Dorfold Hall. This venue is bursting with character and textures which make it the most gorgeous wedding venue.

Caroline and Jason created a bright colourful eclectic intimate wedding celebration which was fit to bursting with gorgeous details and fun for their family and friends (family and friends who came as far as Australia!). Their intimate ceremony was held outside in the grounds with unkempt overgrown grass all around, wonky flags and scorched grass, but my god that's what made it beautiful. Full of character and interest, topped of with a stunning copper arch adorned with a mixture of pink, orange and purple flowers and lots of foliage. Their ceremony was followed by lots of mingling and welcome drinks on the lawn under the hot sunshine.

I whisked Jason and Caroline away for their portrait session, and they will both swear blind that they were awkward AF, but I'm telling you now they are fibbers! They were both amazing in front of the camera...Bubbly, fun and hilariously cute together, and I am obsessed with their photos!

But the gorgeous-ness didn't stop there. Since they had such a intimate small wedding they were able to use the Coach House for their reception (HELLS YEAH). With it's white wash walls and wooden tables, it was the perfect location for their meal. Their tables were adorned with more flowers and thoughtful favours for both their English and Aussie guests. English sweets for the Aussies and Australian sweets for the Brits. Genius.

Their evening consisted of lots of dancing and toasting marshmallows by the fire pits. The perfect end to their amazing day. I had the best day with both Jason and Caroline's family and friends and I cannot wait to edit the rest of their wedding!

oh oh oh, and did I mention Caroline wore a Pronovias dress!!!!!! <3

Scroll to see their day in all it's glory....
