Kitty & James

I don’t know where to start describing how utterly amazing Saturday’s wedding was.

It was one of those days where no matter how knackered you are, you come home beaming from ear to ear with how incredible it was.

From the minute I received Kitty and James’ enquiry about 12 months ago, I knew it was one of those weddings I just HAD to capture. Their plans and style were completely up my street!

Bridal preparations took place at the one and only Stanley Kubrick’s family home. Yep, the god of film making himself. If you don’t know who he is, GOOGLE, NOW! His house was everything I dreamt it would be, beautiful with total quirk factor. The perfect place for Kitty and her nearest and dearest to get glam.

They then went onto the St Albans registry office, which used to be a prison!! (Yeah I know right!)
Followed by a DIY tipi reception in a field surrounded by woodland. They were welcomed by the most awesome celebration. There was a strict no confetti policy at both of their venues, but instead of being defeated, they put their thinking caps on and came up with one hell of a solution. They handed out lots of pastel coloured foam fingers, party blowers and flags to make their entrance special.

The rest of their day was full of amazing details, dinosaurs galore, lawn games, shots, a beauty tent, custom tattoos, and a surprise DJ set by the bride and groom!!!!! IT WAS FRIGGING AWESOME!!!!
