CANDID WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
CAPTURING THE TRUE SPIRIT OF YOUR DAY AND THE ESSENCE OF YOUR FAVOURITE PEOPLE.
It’s art, but it’s also life – exactly as it unfolds.
Candid wedding photography isn’t about forcing a moment; it's about letting it breathe.
And I know the photographs you’ll keep returning to will be the ones you didn’t even realise I was taking.
Drawn to stories found in light, texture, and subtle gestures, I’m happiest working with what’s already in front of me: the big bursts of joy, the ripple of moving fabric, the way people gravitate towards one another. With an eye for design, detail, and candid connection, I capture weddings as they naturally unfold, moving freely among your loved ones and documenting both the moments you expect and the ones that take you completely by surprise.
MEET LUCY CLARA

Over 13 years of photographing weddings, with 350+ celebrations captured.

Warm, quick to laugh, curious, and instinctive, I blend in easily and put people at ease without trying. My approach to candid wedding photography is simple: let people be themselves and let the day happen. I’m after the laughter that spills over, the hug that lasts too long, the seconds you didn’t plan for, and the “I didn’t know you caught that” kind of magic.
WEDDINGS BRING EVERYTHING I LOVE INTO ONE PLACE: PEOPLE, MOVEMENT, LIGHT, DESIGN, DETAIL

ONE PACKAGE, FULL DAY COVERAGE

Full-day coverage means I’m there for the real substance of your day; from the initial nerves and first cups of coffee to the shoes coming off and the questionable dance floor decisions, moving seamlessly between stepping forward and hanging back; it’s your day, after all.
My work is guided by light, space, and the way people move within both, but above all, it’s guided by you. Every couple celebrates in their own unique way, and my photographs are an honest and instinctive response to that.

"Lucy was genuinely one of the reasons I stayed calm and in the moment, with emotions running so high. She was so helpful ensuring Saman and I had those essential moments just with one another to take it all in, whilst single-handedly capturing every aspect of our day and being completely self-sufficient. Our guests absolutely loved her and so did we. We were all genuinely gutted to say goodbye when it was her time to leave. "

Your wedding day is a brief moment in time, a brilliant slice of real life, a little piece of history – full of people you love and moments you’ll want to return to again and again. For me, while the photographs matter deeply, it’s just as important to make space for everyone to genuinely have a really amazing time.
